Lineage: No known notable ancestors.

Biography: Renya is sick and tired, and tired of being sick. She has began to watch everything crumble around her, as her earthbending parents were conscripted into the army, her childhood friend and blacksmith, Sulphur Skyder, being taken into the castle, like all the others, to work like a slave over the anvil, and all for what? Rumor and speculation, and simple blindness on every nations part. Why is Renya being told to believe that the Water Tribe, of all people the WATER TRIBE, have become extremely vindictive overnight? To be told that these people are now on a quest for revenge? And why are the Earth Kingdom and Air Nomads coming out and sticking their nose where, Renya believes, that it didn't belong in the first place? Renya doesn't know what to believe, but she has one thing on her mind, and that is ending the war. She has been on site as a medic, due to her learning in medicine as a child, but was forced to leave when she was caught helping the other side as well. That didn't stop her, however, for she still does the same now in stealth. She has almost been took captive, or worse, several times before, because she was far to trusting. So she was forced to stop yet again, but Renya was fine with it, for now she has chosen to have a more active role in the change she wants to see.

Abilities: Renya does most of her earthbending though her weapon, for example, while using her weapon as a hammer, she can swing like a golf club and strike large chunks of earth at foes. She also has an 'Avatar Form' of her own, she doesn't get stronger or gain new abilities, but her tactics become very ruthless and aggressive as she becomes blinded by rage.

Personality:
Renya is actually a very calm girl, she follows the stereotype of the Earth Nation pretty closely, being a 'down to earth' kind of girl. Renya is also very, very kind, and cannot stand to see anyone suffer in any way, which is how she got into medicine. And also how she got kicked out of the army, when she was caught tending to a waterbender. All of her life, she has been very childish, and has fell into friendship and trust very quickly. However, the war has removed her childish demeanor, but hasn't affected her all that much. However, all the bitterness and anger comes out occasionally, and might cause permanent changes, in the long run...

Weapons: Gaea's Tear, a specially crafted 'blunt' or 'hafted' weapon, forged for her by her childhood friend and blacksmith, Sulphur Skyder. It is a long iron pole with a massive quartz and steel core at the end, covered in approximately one and a half feet of hard rock lased with onyx, weighing approximately 225 lbs. Renya can bend the rock around the core in almost any for she wants, from a massive war axe to a massive war hammer to a massive war... you get the idea. Technically, she can form it into even a bladed weapon if she chose, but Renya primarily goes for hafted weapons. She has also tied the end of her scarf around a small sphere of pure onyx, and she has trained to be able to use it both defensively, by wrapping it around hands or weapons to disarm, and offensively, for if her weapon is taken from her and happens to not be able to earthbend otherwise.

The only group we see bend vines are the foggy swamp benders. Water benders. And they bend the water in the plants. So I am unsure if it would be allowed.

Water benders bend plants, If you can explain how he earthbends plants, then I will allow it.

You could always just be a water bender who lives in the earth kingdom and only bends plants to hide the fact she is a water bender.

It's specifically stated in Avatar that wood is not Earth. Earth bending only applies to minerals, not organic material.

I was on long enough to see the first reply, and I seriously considered that.
But then I would have two waterbenders and no earth, which I want. And actually, I had an idea for this character, but once I saw the picture I have for her, I thought that it would be really awesome if she could bend that scarf, as a defensive weapon. I guess I could just say that it has minerals sewn in or something, but it wasn't that necessary to me.

And I watched Avatar so very long ago, I didn't even remember the Foggy Swamp tribe. And I might have missed where they said that Earth only meant literal earth. Though I guess it does make sense, but I always kinda thought Earth~Nature. They only attacked with rocks because it hurts more to be hit with a boulder than some leaves and are a helluva-lot less flammable.

I don't know why you think of Earth as Nature. They're so different, what do rocks and trees have in common?

Anyway, Renya is now revised and done. Unless I decide to up her age, which I'm very tempted to do right now.
