Adventure away from home.

Taiyou and Huo just left the sun warriors village. Taiyou has never left the area around his village, this whole area around him seemed stranged. Taiyou had memorized every landmark around his village and thats how he got back to the village, if Taiyou tryd walking to far off course he could get lost. Taiyou was riding on Mangu riding next to Huo who was riding Yi which was Huo's Vulture Griffin companion. They were walking towards the docks. They had a boat waiting for them to take them to the Eastern Air Temple.

'So Huo what are we suppose to be getting out of going to the Eastern air temple? I mean aren't we there enemy right now?'

Huo's eyes stayed focused on the travel worn path in front of them. "Sometimes the enemy's information, is the best information my friend." Huo nudged Yi to travel bit faster to keep up with Taiyou's Mongoose Dragon.

Huo's hands rested calmly on the reins attached to Yi, this simple grip allowed him to control the large beast, which itself was a close friend of Huo. "And at this point any information brings us closer to ending this war." he said as his gaze quickly moved to Taiyou and then back to the path.

'Hmm I guess...'

Taiyou looks at Mangu and smirk's

'Then the faster we get there, the faster we end this war'
Taiyou winks at Mangu and then he starts to sprint along the path.

Huo let out a light chuckle as he watched his friend bolt off down the path. "Up" he simply said and Yi took off in flight. Yi caught up to Taiyou and Mangu as he swooped in and out of the trees. Huo smiled as he looked over at Taiyou "We are doing this now?" he asked with a grin.

Taiyou smirked up at Huo
'Just until we get to the boat.'
Mangu maintained his speed until they arrived at the boat. Once they got to the docks Taiyou got off of Mangu and let him drink some water.
'Let Yi drink before we continue, then we shall set sail to the Air Temple.' Taiyou pet Mangu while he finished drinking

"It's going to be a long trip. Are you ready?" he said as he lead Yi to some water. Huo ran his hand over Yi's feathers and laid his head on Yi's neck. "Weeks on a boat, sounds awful" he said with a grin.

Taiyou smirks at Huo's comment
'Then we better get moving then...'
Taiyou and Mangu got on the boat. It was a pretty big boat, there was two floors the top floor was outside and flat while the bottom floor had a kitchen, and two rooms.
Taiyou was standing on the top floor.
'So this is where we will be training?' Taiyou ask Huo waving him onto the boat.

Huo smiled "Anywhere is great for me, mopping the floor with you holds no more value with different locations." he said stepping onto the boat leading Yi behind him, and slapping Taiyou on the back in a joking manner.

Huo took a step forward in a strong stance sending his fist forward quickly sending a fire ball hurdling through the air, signaling the captain to set sail.

Taiyou chuckled at Huo...
He then put Mangu to the side and then turned he attention back to Huo.

'So why dont we make these next few weeks go by a little faster then.... Lets see how much we have improved. Agni Kai?... We can start now if you want.' Taiyou said with a chuckle taking off his robe revealing he Tattoo's. Taiyou had his Gi on and walked to the center of the boat

Huo ran his fingers through his hair and smiled. Huo walked over and took off his Gi coat. Huo's fingers curled with fire as he slowly walked to the center of the boat. "Sounds good to me. BEGIN!" he said as he moved towards Taiyou shooting a ball of fire at him.

Taiyou takes a step to the side avoiding the fireblast. Taiyou gives Huo a smirk
'Shall we start with the basics?'
Taiyou then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath then releases and opens his eyes and spin kicks and launches a slash of fire at Huo.

Huo put up his hands waiting for the attack, as the fire hit him, he swung his arms away from his body causing the fire to dissipate around him, leaving him unscathed. "Sounds good to me." Huo said with a smirk. Huo then continued with his form advancing towards his sparring partner sending another fire attack at Taiyou.

Taiyou put his hands in front of him and split the blast.
Enough basic bending for now Huo... Time to start hand-to-hand combat.
Taiyou started walking to Huo. Taiyou ducks and upcuts at Huo's face

A simple forearm threw Taiyou's fist of course causing him to miss, this was simple training, when a real battle comes forth more speed will be required. In the same motion that Huo used his forearm to deflect Taiyou's punch he lifted his knee up trying to drive it deep into his gut. "Anything is fine" he said as his knee sped up.

Taiyou used his free hand to push Huo's knee just enough to miss his gut. 'Close one' Taiyou pulled his other arm back and sent a fireblast at Huo's torso, Taiyou had a smirk on his face this was one of the few other firebenders around Taiyou's age who he could spar with and not have to worry about harming.

A quick hand swipe diffused the fire attack, it wasn't difficult for a fire bender to deflect attacks as simple as these, especially when you have had a long time to learn your opponents moves. Huo pushed Taiyou's extended arm down and swung for his face, his movements were quick and solid, but he harbored little hope, knowing Taiyou could easily dodge the attack.

Taiyou rose the hand he used to block Huo's knee to deflect his punch. Taiyou knew there was an opening to attack the Huo couldn't easily counter. So instead he took and step back away from any possible close ranged attacks. Taiyou took a deep breath and release Ki from his body and makes a sphere of fire around him. This ability isn't mainly used to hurt Huo as much as it is used to distract him.

Huo smirked as he watched his training partner. "I have tricks of my own." Huo said he spread his arms with closed fists. Huo slowly opened his hands which were coated in flames. Huo shot two waves of spiraling flames at Taiyou.

Taiyou smirks. His tattoo's glow red 'Perfect... Don't you remember what I can do with these marks?' The two blasts hit Taiyou's chest and catch his marks on fire. Taiyou stood there with his chest mostly consumed in flames... After stretching his arms he returns to his fighting position. Taiyou launches fireballs out of his hands at Huo then flips into the air and behind Huo

Huo closed his eyes and crossed his forearms in front of his chest blocking the fire balls. Huo smiled as he quickly turned around to face Taiyou again, Huo bent over assuming a sprinter stance, then bolted towards Taiyou. Huo lifted off the ground and raised his fist, swinging a hard right for Taiyou's jaw.

Taiyou's tattoo's stared to glow again, Taiyou swung his elbow deflecting Huo's punch. It was time to trick it up a bit, basic training wont help them against a master air bender. Taiyou spun around and did a sweep kick.

Huo bent backwards planting his left hand on the ground, springing himself backwards away from Taiyou's attack. Huo landed using his hands to balance himself up, it was far from a solid landing. Huo placed his hands together and pushed them up at Taiyou sending a fire blast at him.

Taiyou stood up again and put his forearms together taking the fireball head on. The blast pushed Taiyou back a few feet.

Smoke covered the boat deck, their was scuff marks on Taiyou's left and right forearm. Taiyou put his arms and legs into a new stance. A stance that Taiyou created out of the old Kata called 'The Dancing Dragon'.
'Alright Huo, times to test my newest form.'

"Then I shall too." Huo responded with a friendly grin. Huo spread his legs and placed his fists on his hips. Huo moved slowly in rhythmic steps moving his hands in front of him turning over his open palms creating perfect orbs of fire. "Are you ready?" he asked staying completely focused on his form.

"Mhm, so lets us begin."
Taiyou lifted one leg and put his arms in the air palm up. This was the first stance in the 'Dancing Dragon'. He then moved into he next stance, which he leaned down and pointed at his foot with one arm, and into the air with his other. From this stance he swung up at Huo with the arm aimed down.
