On the southern coast of the earth kingdom...

"If you freeze my arms how can I let you go." Looks at Nabiki, arms frozen and pretty cold as they stood there. "If you unfreeze me I will... but don't you like this, being held by me?" He asked, both of them standing on the sand, not sinking beneath it. He grinned and smiled down at her.

Nabiki's cheeks flushed as she grasped the meaning of his words ans she nodded silently, melting the ice around his arms, but putting her hands on his to stop him from releasing her.

"Of course i like this!" Nabiki laughed and leaned her head back into lukas's chest.

With the ice melted, he was about to move his arms away but he then felt her hands on his arms and he smiled, holding her against him still. "Yeah, you know, I don't mind this either. Its nice." He said softly, keeping her against his chest for a bit. "This is almost as good as cactus juice." Lukas said with a smile, holding her against him still.

'Better," nabiki finalized. The water and sand was cold, but Lukas was very warm and Nabiki was comfortable. The effect of the cactus juice was wearing off slightly, but Nabiki had been aware enough for a little while to know what she was doing.

"I like this, lukas," She said, using his name and liking how it felt to form the letters. "It's warm and safe and snuggley. I like you, too. Your're nice and funny!" Her face was formed into a grin like the kind a small child might give you when they get something they really love.

Lukas held her against his chest, feeling her small and warm body against him. He was still a bit tired and even though she had doused him with water it didn't seem to have really woken him up. As they stood there he rested his head on her shoulder, his eyes half closed.

He smiled and nodded his head sleepily. "I like this too Nabiki..." He said softly, her name easily rolling off his tongue. "Its nice and its warm... and you are very snuggable as well... I like you too." Lukas responded, holding her and smiling at her softly.

Nbiki smiled back and, almost instinctively, swiveled her head for her mouth to meet his, feeling his smile against hers.

When their lips met, Lukas was shock but soon relaxed, closed his eyes and pulled her close, kissing her lips softly and making sure that her brave act was rewarded. The kiss seemed to last several moments before Lukas pulled away and smiled. "That wasn't so bad now was it?"

"Who said i expected it to be bad?" Asked Nabiki coyly, cocking her head to the side and smiling. "It was pretty much how i expected, but with less leading on my part." At this she winked. She had turned a full 180 degrees so she was facing Lukas, her arms about his neck.

"Besides, You were the one who got surprised!" She stretched up, landing another playful kiss on him. "And I think you found it the pleasant type!"

Lukas smiles and shook his head softly. "You are a sly little one you know that Nabiki." He said, chuckling, his arms around her waist. "Still, I take it kissing this earth bender was something you not only wanted but planned. Clever girl." He added, rocking her slightly in his arms.

Chuckling, he nodded his head. "True, it was a little surprising." Lukas said, kissing her back briefly. "And I do believe it was one that I enjoyed."

Nabiki grinned, her eyes narrowing slightly. She picked her arms up off his shoulders to put them on his chest, tracing the extremely well-defined muscles.
"So what if i did plan it? Are you saying you object?" She asked, teasingly pulling away with a pretend hurt expression.

He shivered when her hands moved down his chest some, stroking her back with his own hands feeling a little stir-crazy. When she teasingly pulled away, Lukas let a hand trail from her shoulder down her arm and clasp her hand softly. "Why would I object, you are a more then amazing person I must say." He said, grinning and pulling her back toward him.

Nabiki smiled, allowing him to pull her close. "You flatter me!" She said her arms snaking around him to end up stroking his back. She went onto her tiptoes for another kiss, her mouth making contact as her arms snaked up to pull his head down lightly by his hair.

Lukas leaned in and kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her and lifting her up by making a seat for her arms. "Well, I can do my best to do so." He said, smiling and holding her so that she could easily be closer to him. "I think that this will make things a lot easier for you." Lukas added, chuckling softly.

"definitely," Nabiki replied, wrapping her legs around his waist and tangling her hands further in his hair, pulling him more roughly back into another kiss.

Lukas blushed a slight bit when she wrapped her legs around him, and he couldn't help but be pulled against her lips once more, kissing her a bit deeper for a few moments. As they kissed, he strokes her back and leg softly and he soon pulled away, smiling. "Maybe next time one of us should just bend a small platform for this..."

Nabiki looked around and noticed that they had been steadily sinking into the sand which was now up to their upper-chests.

"Good point... Okay, earth bender, get us out of your trap!" Nabiki laughed, pecking Lukas on the cheek before laying her head on his shoulder, her legs still wrapped around him.

Lukas just chuckled. "I got us out a while ago, its just that the sand generally does this." He said softly, kissing her again before walking her back to shore, holding her softly and smiling. He took a moment to think, to question if this was the right thing to do, but he just shook his head softly. No need to ruin such a nice moment with such negative thoughts.

Little did Lukas know, Nabiki was having the same thoughts, only her moment was already ruined. The cactus juice had long since worn off and now she was realizing that she'd basically taken Lukas as her boyfriend. In his arms, him carrying her, there was no turning back. She'd kissed him and she was now in no position to tell him it wasn't that way. And i guess i don't want to... she thought, the sudden realization making her think to ask him.

"So... does this mean that we're... together now?" She asked, hesitantly a small part of her prayed fo him to say no, but the rest wanted a heartfelt "yes".

Blinking at Nabiki after she spoke, Lukas looked ahead, walking into the cave and sitting down on the bed he had made, holding Nabiki the hole time. With her now sitting on his lap in effect, Lukas gave her a smile and kissed her softly. "I certainly wouldn't say no if you where offering." He said softly, smiling at her and stroking her cheek softly, no need to support her anymore. He wasn't a fool, and knew that they might get strange looks, but he had fallen for her.

"I am. And I'm glad," Nabiki replied, smiling. "Also, I need some new clothes, you know- earth kingdom stuff. d'you know where we can find that sort of thing?" the word "we" surprised even her, but pleasantly. She liked being a "we" with lukas. The thought made her smile again and she reached ut and took Lukas's hand, puting it to her cheek and closing her eyes. She liked this. very much.

He just smiled and nodded his head. "Yeah, we are going to have to get you clothed into some new clothes when the time comes. We'll have to visit a town and while you stay hidden I'll get you something to wear." Lukas said, rubbing his chin before nodding, as if he came to agree with something that he was thinking of. When she put his hand to her cheek, he smiled and softly rubbed it with his thumb. "As much as I like staring at you, I think we should get going soon, that polar bear dog isn't going to get any less pregnant."

Nabiki laughed, the bliss of being with Lukas bubbling up inside her and making her own cactus juice. She walked over to the mouth of the cave to find that Kiera had fallen asleep in her canoe!

"Ah, She's asleep! O, well, let's go wake her p, i guess, she can sleep once we're moving..." Nabiki said, moving toward her canoe.

As she walked away, Lukas waited for a few moments before getting up and walking over to the mouth of the cave as well, looking at the sleeping polar bear dog. "Heh, silly dog is just over there and sleeping, how crazy that is." He said, chuckling before he looked at her.

"Lets see what is going on over there." Lukas said, walking over to the two and just looking at the polar bear dog and he chuckled.

Nabiki grinned and patted the dog on the head, cooing to her and stroking her head and ears. She popped her head up and had her ears pricked, her tail wagging into a blur. Kiera's eyes sparkled with happiness at Nabiki's continued attention.

"C'mon girl, we gotta get going! Otherwise, we'll be late!" Nabiki said, laughing as kiera licked her face. "Hey now! None of that!" But both the pairs of eyes were sparkling with mischief. Nabiki jumped up and Kiera leapt out of the canoe- surprisingly agile for a pregnant polar bear dog.

"Alright," nakbiki's face turned back into a serious expression. "How do you suggest we continue? By land or by sea?"

"Well, since this is an island I suggest we go by sea." Lukas said, already fully suited up in his gear and walking back over to Nabiki and Kiera. With a stamp of his feet the rocks covering his boat turned to sand and the moved it over next to Nabiki's boat before getting some sand and earth bending them into three clamps. "There we are, one fine boat made from two different boats." He said, smiling as he took a sip of cactus juice.
